2 weeks left

In exactly two weeks, I will probably be arriving at my house after an extremely long day of traveling. I have less than 2 weeks left here, and while I am extremely excited to be home, I really am not ready to think about leaving yet. The Danes have a great expression that says something like the only thing better than traveling is returning home again. And they are right that there really is something special about coming home. But I have really grown to love this culture and the Danish people. The last thing I will be doing in Denmark before driving to the airport is going to watch Tine's class's Christmas play with the family. Then they have to drive me straight to the airport. But that should be really nice.
Last friday I had several of my friends over for dinner, and the boys all had some of their friends too, and we had a great dinner, and then we all went and hung out in the basement for a while with some music before going out in Roskilde. The guys took us to the place they usually go, and that was really cool too, and they bought all the drinks, which was really nice. The girls left around 1 to catch a train back into  Copenhagen, and I stayed out with the guys all night and didn't get home until 5:30 am! So saturday didn't amount to much, obviously. But friday was a ton of fun. Tine and Laila cooked 5 different kinds of christmas cookies on saturday and listened to christmas music, and that night, we watched Elf! and I went to bed at 10 and slept for 12 hours. excellent.
Then for Tuesday I wrote 2 final papers, and did a presentation for Monday and also one for Tuesday. But now I am down to one paper, and one presentation left for Thursday. I forgot. I also got to go to Tine's class last week to their Christmas party. All the parents came and brought a wonderful breakfast, and we made Christmas crafts and ornaments, which is something every dane learns how to do at a young age. It was really fun. Some time soon, I will write and post pictures about Vienna, and about Paris, which I realized I never did in October.
